The Octave Horn Antennas Series Is Specifically Engineered For Emissions And Immunity Testing Within The 1 Ghz To 8 Ghz Frequency Range. This Antenna Series Features Linear Polarization, Medium Gain, And a Moderate Half-Power Beamwidth In Both Horizontal And Vertical Planes. It Offers Low Vswr Across Its Recommended Operating Band And Maintains Antenna Factors Within a Tight ±2 Db Variation.

The Broad Octave Bandwidth Is Optimized For Seamless Integration With Octave Bandwidth Traveling-Wave Tube (Twt) Amplifiers, Eliminating The Need To Switch Antennas Throughout The Frequency Range.

Each Antenna Is Supplied With a High-Performance, Low Vswr Type N Coax-To-Waveguide Adapter. While This Adapter Defines The Antenna’s Power-Handling Limits, It Can Be Removed If a Power Source Equipped With Waveguide Output Is Used. Under Such Conditions, Electric Field Strengths Exceeding 10,000 V/m At 10 Meters Can Be Achieved.
